At the intermediate level of Hatha Yoga, students delve deeper into the intricate relationship between breath and movement. Here, practitioners develop a keen awareness of how breath control evolves with each pose, enhancing both strength and flexibility. This stage is a rewarding challenge, as it demands a higher level of physical capability and mental focus than earlier practices. Embrace the thrill of exploring more complex movements, including invigorating backbends, as you deepen your connection to your body and breath.

Recognizing that asana (physical posture) is just one of the eight limbs of yoga, the class offers not only a traditional Hatha practice, but also incorporates yogic philosophy, Sanskrit chanting, a variety of mudras and pranayamas, as well as a guided meditation. Everyone at any level of experience is welcome, as you’re encouraged to honor ahimsa (non-harming) and practice at a level appropriate for the body you woke up with that day!
